The tablecloth on the table defines the
borders between reality and dream in the
work of Esther Beer Percal. The
two-dimensional tablecloth is made of a
soft material, it collects the crumbs
and sensations of life, drops off the
table and caresses the floor. It divides
and connects at the same time the two
faces of reality: material reality and
mystical reality. The bird-crow enters
and removes the peace and tranquility
from the family table. A tablecloth, a
table, a crow, parts of houses as frames
of life which are symbols linking
together these creations by Esther Beer Percal.
